GalleryGalleryINC is curious about unknown latent marvellous possibilities of here & now. Aimless Research Institute is curious about unsought artistic research findings. Together, we are curious about the unknown marvels we miss out on when we are overconfident about what we want to achieve. This is where you come in.

You bring your offbeat curiosity, we bring a gallery space, a publication and a budget of AUD 1,000 to explore it. For your proposition to be eligible, each of the resources offered must be crucial for your artistic research strategy. Together with any other resources you command, they must also be sufficient to make the research effort worthwhile. If your curiosity piques our curiosity, we will invite you to discuss its feasibility further.

However, this is not a competition. We will never be able to tell which proposal is "the best". We can only tell when we are curious enough to engage. We approach it as an open-ended collaborative art project from the outset and let it take the time and trajectory it takes. Thus, this EOI will close whenever we commit to a project.
