CURIOUS ENTANGLEMENTS​​​​​​

In November 2025, the Aimless Research Institute and GallerygalleryINC issued an open call for open-ended artistic research into the curious unknowns of here and now, hoping for unsought marvellous findings. We offered our support, gallery space, publication, and a $1,000 budget to the first idea that piqued our curiosity.

The first proposal arrived within two hours of our announcement, and we rushed to close the EOI a month later, when, despite our uncompromising scrutiny, we found ourselves entertaining five intriguing proposals from many more received. We were amazed by the rich diversity of perspectives, topics, and media, and are very grateful to everyone who shared their curiosity with us.
